Although not as old as God I have certainly attained more years than his son and have decided to celebrate. I am having a quilt made and would be delighted if my friends and family would like to contribute a Fat Quarter and follow along an the journey of creating my 40th birthday quilt.
With seven and half weeks until the actual big day I shall be putting posts on this blog of fabrics, colours, designers and shops that appeal to me, akin to an online mood/ideas board. This may prove useful for ranging in on colours, designs and patterns however I will adore anything you send because of the time, effort and love that has gone into your choice.
Hopefully this will be fun for all of us and will undoubtedly result in a beautiful handcrafted quilt I can treasure forever.
